This was a short and easy to read book with lots of good suggestions for business owners, managers and leaders. I really liked his emphasis on Conscious Capitalism that stresses the need for truth, transparency and authenticity in business relationships. I was particularly impressed that he included Chapter 15, "Even Good Can Go Bad"... Good book that really explores some great business virtues. Some takeaways that will help me as I lay a foundation for my business, getting me away from selfishness and moving me towards generosity and greater responsibility. I thought the case studies were a little shallow and the magnitude of results were not as great as he made them... A short book that boils down to: Be good to others.I enjoyed the early anecdotes, and the book does lay out the lessons it's trying to teach in the 7 ways you can put people over profit and be more likely to have a successful business, but I think that most of the value of the book can be gotten near the beginning once you get through...
