This meticulously well written story captivated me from page one and kept me eagerly turning the pages late into the night. Ms. Clays attention to detail is spot-on! She obviously did her research for the time period. This is a fast paced, heart racing... I am a western fan. I've read and have all of the Louis L'Amour books and loved them. I've read and have all of the White Indian series. I loved this story and Jackie Clay kept me on the edge of my seat. If you like westerns you will like this book. I can't wait for book 2 coming out in June.
